My latest Fabletics goodies are finally seeing some run time! I got the Suva II Run Short in Mint Julep Brush Print, the Oula Tank in Mint Julep, and the Koia Sports Bra in Gray/Mint, and I took them for a couple runs (and a wash in between to gauge how well they’d hold up.

The Koia Sports Bra is a new style that Fabletics introduced in July, and according to the website, it offers medium support, removable cups, and is a polyester/spandex blend. There are a few sizes left (as of this writing) in Heather Gray/Mint Julep, but Fabletics also brought it back in Cobalt.
And I love this bra. I don’t know if I love it more than the Ayni, but it is very, very close. It’s a supportive bra (if you’re small-chested, like me), good for shorter runs and looking awesome and maybe fading out some of that dreaded sports bra tan that you get even if you slather yourself with sunblock. It’s soft, and it’s comfortable, and the cups add a little boost and coverage. The front dips down in a V, so there’s also a bit of cleavage involved. I would definitely want to try this in other colors!

The Oula Tank is a great basic tank. The Mint Julep one seems cut a little differently, but it was still long enough and cut well enough to look great. It’s a lightweight nylon/spandex blend that actually doesn’t feel like it’s capturing heat when you’re running, unlike other fitted tanks. It’s almost as lightweight as a singlet. One of the other things I like about it is that it wraps up nicely around your wrist if you have to pull it off on a super-hot day.
The Mint Julep Oula is mostly sold out, but Fabletics, being awesome, does offer it in Cobalt for August.

Finally, there’s the Suva II Run Short in Mint Julep Brush Print. I’ve already raved about the Suva shorts and claimed them as my basics, although I did notice that after a couple washes, one of the stiff nylon threads started poking out and irritating my lower back (fixed by yanking that sucker out).
Anyway, I was curious about the fit of the Suva II shorts, but I found them to be very similar to the original Suvas: breathable, lightweight, comfortable, perfect for runs. The annoying thread did come out on the Suva IIs, but again, it can be yanked and cut so it won’t bother me. The shorts are polyester with a mesh pointelle liner, and there’s also an internal coin pocket. Mint Julep Brush Print is mostly sold out, but Fabletics offers the shorts in the incredibly awesome Blue Lava Print, which I am coveting like crazy.
