Lemon Caraway Salmon

Salmon by itself is tasty, but sometimes it needs a little kick. The lemon is familiar, while the caraway seeds give the salmon a little crunch and nuttiness. I make this pretty regularly when salmon is on sale at the supermarket.

Lemon Caraway Salmon served with green beans.
Lemon Caraway Salmon is delicious.

  • 2-3 oz salmon
  • 1/2 tsp caraway seed
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  1. Press caraway seeds into both sides of salmon
  2. In skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat
  3. Add salmon, and cook through until it flakes easily with a fork
  4. Add butter to top of salmon. Let it melt
  5. Add lemon juice.
This is one serving. I eat it with steamed green beans or asparagus.
