The elements are not kind to a runner’s skin. I contend with signs of aging that are magnified by exposure to cold weather, and I’m always looking for new products to test that will at least mitigate the damage I do to my skin by running in harsh conditions (see: New England winters).
The InstaNatural Youth Express Eye Gel can actually be used as a full-face treatment. It’s a smooth, clear gel that includes natural ingredients like plant stem cells, as well as Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000, Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil. It treats dark circles, puffiness, and the hated crow’s feet.
This was my favorite of the trio. I’ve been using it daily, twice a day, with pretty good results. I don’t have the skin I did when I was 21, but the gel does make my under eye skin smoother and preps it better for concealer.
The InstaNatural Eye Serum contains caffeine (exciting!). That’s supposed to take care of puffiness. The eye serum also has vitamin C, plant stem cells, and some of the ingredients found in the Youth Express Eye Gel.
I thought the orange color of the serum was a little strange. However, it did blend neatly, and it was a very smooth, lightweight serum.
Finally, the InstaNatural Retinol Moisturizer Cream is billed as a day or night cream. It’s supposed to fight fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and other signs of aging. However, it does contain retinol, and that’s where the moisturizer and I had to part ways. I felt like the moisturizer would be great for someone without a retinol sensitivity, but for me it just introduced a fresh dry patch.
Overall, the InstaNatural products are pretty high quality and reasonably priced. I’d recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for new anti-aging products.
