May Fit Snack Box Review: To the Max

This May Fit Snack box review is coming a little late. I received the box in mid-May, and the rest of the month was a whirlwind. Luckily, I had some good snacks to power me through it:

In all its glory.

Rise Buddy Chips: Can we talk about these chips? I think this is the third time I’ve gotten them in a Fit Snack box, and I’m still not sick of them. Rise Buddy Chips are gluten-free, trans-fat free, and made with whole grain brown rice. They’re a tasty alternative to potato chips.

Fawen Drinkable Soup: This ready to drink soup is the one thing I can’t tell you what I thought of in my May Fit Snack Box review – I didn’t try it. What’s awesome about it is that it only has 5g of sugar per serving and only 18g of carbohydrates total.

Foods Alive: The lemon-chia crunch was extremely tart. I actually wasn’t a huge fan; the treat crunched, but it had a weird seedy texture from the chia seeds. If you like tart foods, this is the snack for you.

Peanut Butter & Co.: Once in a while, I’ll turn to powdered peanut butter for a little extra protein. I got a sample of the vanilla flavor in my May Fit Snack box, and it went well with the plain Greek yogurt I was eating.

Purely Inspired: I feel like I have a ton of samples of the Purely Inspired Organic Protein already, but it never hurts to have an extra one. I received vanilla, and the taste is really smooth. It also doesn’t have added sugar, a definite bonus.

Fruit Bliss Dried Fruit: Yay, figs! These Fruit Bliss Turkish Mini Figs are so tasty. They’re sweet and a little gooey. They use two ingredients: figs and water. I do like these as a portable alternative to post-workout fresh fruit, although not very often.

Bite Fuel Protein Granola: Finally, I tried the Bite Fuel Protein Granola in Blue Mango. It’s pretty tasty, and just a little goes a long way toward dressing up otherwise plain yogurt.

I would be remiss if I forgot to mention the card in this May Fit Snack box review. Fit Snack included a “To the Max” May workout that requires “to failure” exercises. They’re all body weight, and May focused on arms and abs. The card also detailed every item sent, a nice guide to what I was trying.

Did you get the Fit Snack box in May? What was your favorite item?
