Disclosure Statement

Hey, everyone! Christine Parizo here. I’m a huge believer of transparency and honesty, especially on the web. That’s why I’m telling you that I include some products and services, and links to those products and services, that will earn me some affiliate income if you purchase through those links. I accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions, and other forms of compensation, but in NO WAY does this influence how I write about or review products. You’re always going to get my honest opinion – it’s the journalist in me.

My goal with Run Out of the Box has always been, and continues to be, a way to provide honest, reliable information on running, CrossFit, nutrition, and related topics. However, I’ve got hosting fees to pay (and all the expenses that go with running my own business), so if I can recoup some of the costs that go into it, I’m all for it.

At this point, I’ve been writing so long, and disclosure regulations have changed so much, that I can’t go back and list every single affiliate or income-earning link on this site. I think it’s safe to assume that if I’m linking you to a product, it’s an affiliate link.

I participate in several affiliate programs. I will always disclose on posts dating from 2019 and on when a link is an affiliate link. I’m always going to tell you when I received a product for free in exchange for a review, or if I got some money to write about something.

The good news for you is that you literally pay NOTHING when you click on one of these links on Run Out of the Box. In fact, I have relationships with some of these companies, and you can actually save money with the coupon codes I also provide.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me using my Contact page.

Happy running (and CrossFitting, and eating!)

Christine P.
